Presumably each of the three parties have been similarly
billed, making a total of $90.00 for such miscellaneous typing.
Never before during the nearly three years of the Compact Commission's
work has a charge for such miscellaneous typing during a session. been
made. We think this charge was not authorized, is not justified and
that it should not be allowed..
To allow this additional $90.00 for miscellaneous typing during the
five days in which the reporter was allowed a per diem in the aggre-
gate sum of $75.00, $15.00 per day, making a total of $165.00 for
a week's services, would in effect be an allowance of more than
double the amount which the Commission had agreed upon for services
of the reporter rendered during the sessions of the Commission.
Very truly yours,
Geo.
