We are not really predicting how long Z
this series of studies will take, and, frankly, we don't want
to be too much annoyed while we are engaged in those studies,
in that we have no thought of procrastinating in our report
on it, but we would like the Commission to devote its at-
tention to other things, and we feel for the time being it
is in good hands. Until we are ready to come up with some-
thing you can put your teeth into, just kind of leave us alone.
That is our plea in this report .
MR. MITCHF.I,I. : Maybe I am suggesting this or moving be-
fore there has been all the discussion that might be had.
AS it strikes me, I will move, and that is that the interim
report of the Engineering Committee be accepted and approved
by this Commission, and that the Engineering Committee be
authorized and directed to make further study in line with
those which they have begun, and to make further report to
the Commission when the Engineering Committee has sufficient
data upon which to do it .
CHAIRMAN TRAMER: I s there a second to that motion?
MR. IRELAND: I will second it . I have no thought, how-
ever, of pressing for a termination of this discussion.
MR. MITCHELL: No.
