We recognize that this is a non-consumptive recreational water project
and that recreational boating is a significant component of Grand County's and Colorado's
economy.
Throughout the lengthy negotiations culminating in the Colorado River Cooperative
Agreement(CRCA), Denver Water and Grand County have worked in good faith with others
to address a wide range of historic disputes. Recently, Grand County joined Denver Water in
signing the CRCA. We trust that this letter will serve as a demonstration of our continued
determination to cooperate on efforts important for Colorado's future.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions.
Sincerely,
r "
James S. Lochhead
CEO/Manager
CONSERVE
