Stanton, P.E. <br /> Chief, Project Planning and Construction Section <br /> DATE: January 15, 1999 <br /> SUBJECT: Agenda Item 10g,January 27-28, 1999 Board Meeting- <br /> Water Project Construction Loan Program - General and Financial Matters, <br /> Financial Activity for November and December 1998 <br /> • Introduction <br /> Financial activity reports for the Construction Fund summarizing the Colorado Financial <br /> Reporting System (COFRS) reports for Period_4 (October 15 - November 15) and Period 5 <br /> (November 15 - December 15) have been prepared to give the Board a continuing update on the <br /> activity in the Construction Fund (see attached lists). <br /> Discussion <br /> A total of$4.83 million was received in loan deposits in the first half of state FY 1998-99, <br /> compared to $4.21 million for the same period last year. Of this amount, $2.02 million was return <br /> of principal and$2.81 million was interest. In contrast, loan disbursements totaling $9.09 million <br /> were made in the same period, compared to $4.07 million for the same period last year(see attached <br /> bar charts). The significant increase is due to the $7.5 million loan to the Eagle Park Reservoir <br /> Company. <br /> • <br /> Recommendation . <br /> This agenda item is for your information.
