X Other (describe) : To fund the effort to refresh the irrigated acreage mapping
that was done in the Rio Grande DSS an provide funding in refreshing the Arkansas
acreage to be consistent with CDSS standards. There will also be a task associated with
looking into the mapping Tamarisk from exiting satellite imagery for the Colorado, Rio
Grande,Arkansas and South Platte River basins.

and direction from nearest town, as well as legal description): Colorado,San Juan,Rio
Grande,South Platte and Arkansas River basins.
4. Please provide a brief narrative description of the proposed project or study including
purpose,need, facilities, and service area. (Attach separate sheet,if needed.): As part of the
ongoing CDSS operation and maintenance, irrigated acreage will be updated on a 5-
year cycle. The Colorado River basins was recently done in 2000, with the Rio Grande
