• The Applicant has applied for an Agricultural _Emergency Drought Response grant from
the Colorado Water Conservation Fund's Severance Tax Trust Fund Perpetual Base
Account pursuant to Senate Bill 02S-001 which provides loans or grants to agricultural
organizations for emergency drought-related water augmentation purposes.
Pursuant to the conditions of Senate Bill 02S-001, the Applicant is an agricultural
organization and the Applicant's area has received an emergency drought designation or
a disaster emergency has been proclaimed due to drought.
Therefore, the Director of the Colorado Water Conservation Board and the State Engineer
have consulted with the Commissioner of Agriculture and the Executive Director of the
Department of Natural Resources, and agree to award a grant in the amount of
$47,165.00 to said Applicant.
