(The Construction Fund exists primarily to <br /> provide low interest loans for the construction or rehabilitation of raw water projects. Non- <br /> reimbursable investments are approved only when the project or study is of statewide interest and <br /> benefits a wide range of people and organizations,and/or a large geographical area. <br /> The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration(NOAA)is updating this document in groups <br /> of states around the country. While NOAA provides all of the labor and technical expertise,the vast <br /> majority of the funding for the project must be funded by other sources. <br /> Because the primary need for this data is the accuracy of floodplain mapping,the CWCB, as the state <br /> lead for floodplain management and mapping, is the primary beneficiary of this information. <br /> This project will cover the entire state and will ultimately benefit users in all communities throughout <br /> the state. <br /> 1111 6.
