<br /> irrigation company serving 685 shareholders within a 30,000-acre service area. The project is needed
<br /> because North Poudre Reservoir #5 has an inadequate spillway, and because two company ditches are
<br /> eroding badly, threatening adjacent farmland and county roads. Smith Geotechnical Engineers has
<br /> Icompleted the feasibility study and initial design. The project will consist of constructing an emergency
<br /> spillway and placing two open ditches with pipe. Construction is scheduled to start in March of 1998 and
<br /> be completed by October 1998. Funding sources include a CWCB loan and a special assessment of the
<br /> 1 shareholders.
