The tunnel is in poor condition and the Company plans to replace it with a new pipeline structure in 1999. The average annual volume diverted is 53,000 acre-feet. The Pine River Canal Company is a mutual ditch company and a nonprofit corporation registered in the State of Colorado. IGary Jennings of the La Plata County NRCS has drafted the feasibility study.
