1.5 Business Services
The CWCB carries out most of its statutory responsibilities through the following major
programs:
Water Project Construction Loan Program

Interstate Streams Investigation Program
Floodplain Management Program
Instream Flow/Natural Lake Level Program
Office of Water Conservation Demonstration Grant Program
Agricultural Efficiency Demonstration Grant Program

The CWCB also participates actively in the following federal and interstate programs:
Salinity Control Program.
Endangered Fish and Recovery Implementation Programs
National Flood Insurance Program
Glen Canyon Adaptive Management Program

1.6 Organization
The staff of the CWCB is organized into five programmatic sections plus management and
administration. In FY 1998,there were a total of 31.5 full time positions on the CWCB staff. There
were six full time employees in the Project Planning and Construction Section.
