I <br /> 2.6 Small Project Loan Account I <br /> In 1994 through SB94-029, the General Assembly created the Small Project Loan Account. A <br /> total of$2.0 million was set aside for loans of$100,000 or less. The CWCB was empowered to <br /> authorize these loans at any time during the year without waiting to submit these projects for General <br /> Assembly approval during the legislative session. <br /> The Board approved 5 Small Project Account loans in FY 96, 5 Small Projects Account loans <br /> in FY 97, and 1 Small Project Account loan in FY 98 totaling$746,700. However,the total amount <br /> actually under contract was less, or$675,000 as listed below.
