I 2.6 Small Project Loan Account I In 1994 through SB94-029, the General Assembly created the Small Project Loan Account. A total of$2.0 million was set aside for loans of$100,000 or less. The CWCB was empowered to authorize these loans at any time during the year without waiting to submit these projects for General Assembly approval during the legislative session. The Board approved 5 Small Project Account loans in FY 96, 5 Small Projects Account loans in FY 97, and 1 Small Project Account loan in FY 98 totaling$746,700. However,the total amount actually under contract was less, or$675,000 as listed below. A balance of$712,836 was reported by COFRS to be in the account on June 30, 1997.
