' <br /> Arkansas River Basin Well Pumping Data Processing <br /> 1 <br /> The Board recommends up to $50,000 be authorized from the Construction Fund for the State <br /> Engineer to purchase and coordinate operations of data processing systems to facilitate handling <br /> of well pumping data by water user groups in the Arkansas River basin. <br /> 1 <br /> Arkansas River Channel Restoration Study <br /> The Board recommends up to $150,000 be authorized from the Construction Fund to contract <br /> with the Albuquerque District Corps of Engineers, or a contractor, for a study of the Arkansas <br /> River channel below John Martin Reservoir. The study will investigate problems related to recent I <br /> flooding and identify and evaluate potential solutions to address channel conveyance, sediment <br /> transport, vegetative management, reservoir operations, riparian removal, and plantings.
