1 <br /> 1.5 Business Services <br /> The CWCB carries out most of its statutory responsibilities through the following major ' <br /> programs: <br /> Water Project Construction Loan Program I <br /> Office of Water Conservation Demonstration Grant Program <br /> Agricultural Efficiency Demonstration Grant Program <br /> Interstate Streams Investigation Program <br /> Floodplain Management Program <br /> Instream Flow/Natural Lake Level Program I <br /> The CWCB also actively participates in the following federal programs: <br /> Salinity Control Program <br /> Endangered Fish and Recovery Implementation Programs <br /> National Flood Insurance Program I <br /> 1.6 Annual Report I <br /> In addition to providing information concerning the use and status of the Construction Fund, one <br /> of the purposes of this annual report is to comply with the various state statutes outlined below: <br /> • Section 37-60-122(1)(a),CRS,requires the Colorado Water Conservation Board(Board)to submit <br /> annually no later than December 1, a report to the General Assembly. <br /> • Section 37-60-115 (4)(d),CRS,directs the Board to report annually on any potential reservoir sites <br /> which may be encroached upon by incompatible land uses. The initial dam site inventory required <br /> by section 37-60-115(4)was completed in 1988. <br /> • Section 37-60-119 (3) directs the Board to report on the status of activity under the Water <br /> Management Demonstration Grants Program added in 1992 and on the results of any completed <br /> demonstrations. I <br /> • Section 37-60-121 (1)(c),CRS,directs the Board to apprise the General Assembly of steps taken to <br /> comply with criteria for making expenditures from the Construction Fund as set forth in section <br /> 37-60-121 (1)(b),CRS. <br /> • Section 37-60-122(1)(a),CRS,directs the Board to report on the proposed facilities which the Board ' <br /> recommends be constructed with moneys appropriated or otherwise credited to the Construction <br /> Fund created pursuant to section 37-60-121 (1),CRS.
