Subsequent to the inspection, our office received a completion <br /> certification letter, "As-Constructed" drawings, and final Construction Report from Clint Brown, <br /> P.E. and Duane Smith, P.E. in accordance with Rule 10 of the State of Colorado's "Rules and <br /> Regulations for Dam Safety and Dam Construction". <br /> The project consisted of rehabilitation of the upstream slope of the dam and modifications to <br /> the outlet conduit. Based on a review of the aforementioned documents and results of the final <br /> construction inspection, the construction of this project is considered to have been <br /> satisfactorily completed and constructed in accordance with the approved plans and <br /> specifications. Therefore, this construction project is accepted for full use when water is <br /> physically and legally available. <br /> The completion of this rehabilitation project did not enlarge the reservoir or change the <br /> overall dimensions of the dam. According to our records, Prospect Reservoir Dam has a <br /> maximum height of 43.5 feet and a crest length of 5300 feet. The reservoir created by the <br /> dam has a normal storage capacity of 6368 acre-feet. <br /> The State Engineer, by providing this construction acceptance does not assume responsibility <br /> for any unsafe condition of the subject dam.
