(3)Annual loan repayment calculations are based on 2.75%annual percentage rate over a 30-yr loan. recharge pond(s), canal structural improvements or pumps needed to distribute water from the Union Ditch to the recharge pond(s), and measurement structures for monitoring and controlling water inflow to the pond(s). Low-side and high-side estimates of costs are provided. Site excavation expenses are based on the development of 20 acre-feet of storage (low-side) and 50 acre-feet of storage (high-side). It is believed that 50 acre-feet of developed storage is adequate for this project, but it may be necessary and/or desirable to develop more storage capacity in the future. Additional anticipated costs not included in this estimate are land acquisition expenditures and operation and maintenance costs for the project. Expenditures for canal structural improvements, monitoring, and measurement are expected to be highly variable depending on what the Union Ditch implements and are primarily presented in the cost estimate as placeholders.
