This report is inadequate for
the basis of formulating, describing, designing and analyzing a whitewater facility. There is no
documentation as to mapping (one foot contour topography, infrastructure), hydrology (such as
analysis of river flows), hydraulics (existing or proposed conditions), criteria (design depths and
profiles, velocities, current patterns, changes in low flow to flood levels, competition facilities,
specifics for various types of boating), establishment of users (what kind of boating, competition),
suitability evaluation for different flows, or engineering design and construction documents.
Specific data omissions include:
1. Overall mapping of the area showing adjoining or connected whitewater reaches.
2. Identification of users and commercial companies, including their numbers, types of boating,
skill level, and river use patterns. Designation of how these users would gain access, and use
these facilities. Similar identification of new users, their access and proposed use patterns.
_l,
12596 WEST BAYAUD AVENUE, SUITE 200, LAKEWOOD, CO 80228
303.458.5550 FAX 303.480.9766
