Emergency Loan Application and Feasibility Study [LEFT HAND DITCH COMPANY] Page | 20

company. Restoring company facilities will allow the restoration of water delivery to these
governmental entities for open space purposes.

The project will have social impacts as Allen Lake and Left Hand Valley Reservoirs are used
for boating and fishing. No land development or other land use changes are planned for the
reservoir sites at this time.

The project will have no significant physical impacts except in the immediate vicinity of the
construction. These impacts will be limited to restoring the functionality of the water delivery
infrastructure.

Permits
The Corps of Engineers will be contacted concerning permitting. We would expect the projects
to be exempt (or covered by a standard nationwide permit) and would not expect 404 or EIS
permitting to be required. Any permits associated with COE permitting will be secured.

Boulder County Land Use will be contacted to determine if any county permits are required.
