Emergency Loan Application and Feasibility Study North Poudre Irrigation Co., Inc. <br />Page 5 of 7 <br /> <br />2 Surveying: To include researching and obtaining past surveys to determine <br />historic location and elevation of check structure so that it can be restored to <br />historic location. New survey to determine existing conditions and depth of <br />scour hole upstream of structure. Construction surveying during placement of <br />concrete for new structure. Final survey for compliance with permits. <br />$8,000 <br />3 Permitting- Obtain permits from Army Corp of Engineers and City of Fort <br />Collins. City of Fort Collins Permitting will require submittal of details and <br />certification at completion. <br />$2,000 <br />4 Removal of Damaged Structure: Remove damaged structure from river, <br />demolish all or part of structure on left embankment, remove radial gate and <br />associated concrete on right embankment. Use rubble to fill void and stockpile <br />remaining for future use. Construct ramp to access river for equipment. <br />$10,000 <br />5 River Control and Dewatering: Construct coffer dam and install pumping as <br />needed to control water for construction, move coffer dam and adjust river <br />channel to complete second portion of project. Provide excavation and <br />dewatering for abutment structures. Include cost of culverts to divert water. <br />$60,000 <br />6 Check Structure: Construct check structure including ties to bedrock, caissons, <br />or sheet piling as needed including all formwork, concrete, reinforcement, pins, <br />and pilings. Replace apron in front of existing radial gates if needed. <br />$175,000 <br />7 Left Abutment Structure: Repair or replace structure as needed including <br />provisions for weep holes and drain behind any portion of existing structure <br />that is left in place. <br />$34,000 <br />8 Radial Gate: Replace radial gate and associated concrete structure and <br />operator to make gate fully functional. <br />$15,000 <br />9 Construction Materials Testing: Perform concrete testing and soils test during <br />construction. Standard concrete field and compression testing plus any <br />required compaction testing or laboratory testing of soils and aggregates. <br />$4,000 <br />10 Right Abutment Structure: Make repairs to any damage caused by flooding to <br />structure or gates. <br />$7,000 <br />11 General Excavation: Provide track hoe, loader, skid steer, and haul trucks for <br />day to day operations, moving of materials, and maintenance of dewatering, <br />removal of rubble. <br />$75,000 <br />12 Engineering Design and Contract Administration: Preliminary investigation of <br />site, schedule and direct surveyors for initial investigation, obtain and <br />administer permits, prepare feasibility and loan documents, administer CWCB <br />loan requirements, prepare construction drawings, specifications, and contract <br />documents, perform construction inspections, project certification and as- <br />constructed drawings, final construction report. <br />$80,000 <br /> Total $477,000 <br /> <br /> <br />North Poudre Irrigation Company, Inc. is applying for a loan not to exceed $477,000. <br />
