Without this <br /> project, these cities would need to find alternate sources of water either through purchase or lease <br /> which would likely have cost implications in the millions of dollars. If alternate sources of water <br /> are not acquired, these cities would have to restrict water use by their residents through <br /> mandatory water restrictions.
