(Please include county, and approximate distance and direction <br />from nearest town, as well as legal description, if known. <br />On the upper Huerfano River from Pass Creek to several miles West of 1 -25, wholly within Huerfano County <br />and roughly centered on the unincorporated community of Gardner. <br />5. Please provide a brief narrative description of the proposed project including purpose, need, <br />facilities, type of water uses to be served and service area. Attach separate sheet, if needed. <br />Acquisition of senior water rights (and associated lands) providing adequate replacement water to protect the wells of <br />unincorporated communities; adjudication of the necessary augmentation /exchange plan; permitting; construction of all <br />facilities necessary for project operation; and establishment of a regional augmentation certificate program. <br />6.
