LAWMA's emergency acquisition of drought-related augmentation water, LAWMA respectfully <br /> requests an additional grant in the amount of$4,792.50,to cover those additional drought-related <br /> administrative and engineering costs. <br /> LAWMA will use 100% of the grant of $326,800 to reimburse, pro-rata, those <br /> LAWMA members who leased the emergency replacement water that LAWMA acquired from <br /> the Pueblo Board of Water Works. <br /> The contact information for LAWMA is as follows: <br /> Donald F. Box 1161 <br /> Lamar,Colorado 81052 <br /> 719-336-9696 <br /> lawma@cminet.net <br /> As required by the Conservation Board's Guidelines, the attachments to this letter <br /> provide the following: <br /> • A detailed description of the purpose of the grant as it pertains to an <br /> emergency drought-related water augmentation purpose; <br /> • A copy of the official drought declaration for the affected Counties by Federal <br /> Government (U.S. Department of Agriculture); <br /> • A detailed line-item budget for LAWMA's purchase of the 4,000 acre-feet of <br /> augmentation water, showing all projected and actual expenditures including <br /> in-kind support, and a detailed line-item budget for LAWMA's associated <br /> drought-related administrative and engineering costs; <br /> • LAWMA's current annual budget, along with a copy of LAWMA's most <br /> recent annual report and financial statements; and <br /> • Information about LAWMA, including institutional and historical <br /> background, a list of the board of directors, the legal classification of the <br /> organization, and a copy of LAWMA's current determination letter indicating <br /> tax-exempt status. <br /> LAWMA greatly appreciates your consideration.
