GreenCO is requesting$29,275 develop four <br /> fact sheets and four"how-to"videos that are based on GreenCO's Best Management Practices(BMPs). <br /> The fact sheets will cover how to maintain a healthy landscape through drought&watering restrictions, <br /> conserving water for HOAs,how much to water a landscape and ways a sprinkler system can save both <br /> water and money. These will be formatted into PDFs and made available to stakeholders to post on <br /> websites. <br /> GreenCO also proposes developing short videos that will provide practical tips from landscape experts. <br /> The videos will focus on Xeriscaping, sprinkler technology and protecting trees during droughts.These <br /> videos will be posted to YouTube and stakeholders will be able to link to the video from their websites. <br /> Both the fact sheets and videos will be free of charge to CWCB,GreenCO members, statewide water <br /> utilities and all stakeholders interested in educational materials. <br /> The total project cost is $39,075. GreenCO has pledged 25%matching funds in the form of in-kind <br /> services totaling$9,800. The OWCDP staff has reviewed and evaluated the grant application and has <br /> determined that the proposal meets the CWCB guidelines for reviewing grant proposals.
