CRC is requesting$48,800 to assess their indoor&outdoor audit programs&analyze their <br /> impact on water use. <br /> CRC has performed 10,000 audits for 26 water providers since 2004. This proposed project will build on <br /> CRC's current methodology that assesses their audit programs impact using over 8 years of water usage <br /> data collected from their water provider partners. During this process, CRC plans to normalize water <br /> usage calculations for weather and express a change in water usage in volumetric terms instead of as a <br /> percentage. Upon completion of the project, CRC will share the results with their partners and the <br /> CWCB as well as other utilities statewide. CRC believes this data can help water providers compare the <br /> costs of implementing conservation programs with new water projects. <br /> The total project cost is $70,900. CRC has pledged 31%matching funds in the form of in-kind services <br /> totaling$12,900 as well as in kind and cash contributions from the water provider partners of$3,200 and <br /> $6,000 respectively,totaling$22,100 of matching funds. The OWCDP staff has reviewed and evaluated <br /> the grant application and has determined that the proposal meets the CWCB guidelines for reviewing <br /> grant proposals.
