Subject: Approval of Supplemental and Amendatory Agreement (Agreement), Concerning the
Acquisition of Municipal and Industrial Water Supply Between the Colorado Water Resources
and Power Development Authority (Authority) and the Animas -La Plata Water Conservancy
District (District), Pursuant to Funding Agreement 02 -WC -40 -8000, Animas -La Plata Project,
Colorado and New Mexico
Dear Mr. Law:
In accordance with the terms of the Funding Agreement 02 -WC -40 -8000, dated November 9, 2001,
between the United States and the Authority, we have reviewed the attached original of the subject
Agreement. We understand that this subject Agreement supplements and amends the April 11, 2005,
Agreement for the Acquisition of Municipal and Industrial Water Supply between and the Authority and
the District.
The Agreement has been reviewed by the Department of the Interior Solicitor's Office for legal adequacy
and approved by the Bureau of Reclamation on behalf of the United States. If you have any questions or
