A -LP WateI Animas -La Plata Water Marketing Supply and Demand Study Section 6 <br />Cooperative Program with Ute Tribes and Marketing Program <br />CWCB ai id the Ute Tribes' have initiated a cooperative program to explore options for increasing <br />utilizatio of A -LP Project water allocated to the Ute Tribes and other water interests in Colorado. The <br />Tribes would like this program to be initiated within the next few months and anticipate the <br />announcement of the joint process at the November 2010 CWCB meeting. The Tribes, the State, and <br />local wa er users, are interested in seeing that A-LP Project Water is used in Colorado to the fullest <br />extent possible and are seeking ways to accomplish this objective. The process envisioned by the State <br />and the Fribes will extend beyond the time frame of the investigation reported on in this report. <br />CWCB w II also work on developing a marketing program to increase municipal use of the State's A -LP <br />water. ne component of this proposed program would provide assistance for diverting, pumping, <br />treating nd conveying/distributing the State's A -LP Water.
