Also have an interest in the development of future infrastructure and use of water from
the Animas -La Plata Project, but the District does not consider annexation to be a
drawback if appropriate terms are included in the Annexation Agreement. The District
continues to strongly support recreation at Lake Nighthorse, and would like to encourage
the Bureau to work with the City of Durango in the development of appropriate terms
that will allow the facility to be open to the public in a timely manner.

recreation at Lake Nighthorse.
