SECTION 6. Wo gran_ development project — appropriation. (1) In
addition to any other appropriation, there is hereby appropriated, out of any moneys in the
Colorado water conservation board construction fund account not otherwise appropriated, to the
department of natural resources, for allocation to the Colorado water conservation board, for the
fiscal year beginning July 1, 2013, the sum of two hundred fifteen thousand dollars ($215,000), or
so much thereof as may be necessary, for the board to improve forecasting of water supplies in the
rio grand river basin.
(2) The moneys appropriated in subsection (1) of this section shall remain available for the
designated purposes until they are fully expended.
SECTION 7. system operations and maintenance —
appropriation. (1) In addition to any other appropriation, there is hereby appropriated, out of any
moneys in the Colorado water conservation board construction fund account not otherwise
appropriated, to the department of natural resources, for allocation to the Colorado water
conservation board, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2013, the sum of one hundred thousand
dollars ($100,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, to fund the operation and maintenance
of the board's CDSS investment.
(2) The moneys appropriated in subsection (1) of this section shall remain available for the
designated purposes until the project is completed.
SECTION 8. — appropriation. (1) In
addition to any other appropriation, there is hereby appropriated, out of any moneys in the
Colorado water conservation board construction fund account not otherwise appropriated, to the
department of natural resources, for allocation to the Colorado water conservation board, for the
fiscal year beginning July 1, 2013, the sum of seventy five thousand dollars ($75,000), or so much
thereof as may be necessary, to perform feasibility study work associated with options that may
help bridge the supply /demand imbalance and assure that Colorado can participate in
implementation of the Colorado river basin study.
