Contents <br />For trial 1 through 10, no LMB were found alive immediately after sleeve valve passage. For the <br />10 replicates performed at the reservoir elevation of 6846 ft, 993 live 0 -plus largemouth bass (55 <br />mm) were injected into the discharge pipe. No LMB were found alive immediately after sleeve <br />valve passage (figure 38) and none were found to be still breathing but motionless. Two FHM (42 <br />and 49 mm) survived beyond 96 tars and were in good condition. <br />For trial 2, two FHM were found alive in the entrainment nets immediately after sleeve valve <br />passage where one FHTu1',died (4 1 mm) at 24 hrs and the other FHM (42 mm) survived beyond <br />96 hrs but was hemorrhaging around right eye. <br />For trial 3, six FHM were found alive in the entrainment nets. Five FHM (42, 46, 49, 50 and 69 <br />mm) died at 24 hrs. The remaining live FHM (40 mm) was still breathing at 96 hrs but had <br />internal hemorrhaging symptoms and bulging eyes and was motionless. <br />Trials 4 and 5 had no FHM survivors immediately after sleeve valve passage. <br />Page 46 <br />
