At the reservoir elevation of 6828 ft, a total of 9 trials were performed using 200 live FHM
(mean TL 55 mm, mean height 10.1 mm) per trial. Total length FHM measurements ranged
from 34 to 76 mm. One FHM escaped the injection process for trial 4 and 3 FHM escaped from
trial 5. Each replicate was injected into the discharge pipe upstream of the sleeve valve
immediately after before the LMB to test the effectiveness to eliminate FHM (55 mm mean TL)
survival at a pressure of approximately 50 psi.

For the 9 replicates performed at the reservoir elevation of 6828 ft, 1796 live FHM (55 mm mean
TL) were injected into the discharge pipe. Twenty -three FHM were found alive immediately
after sleeve valve passage (1.28 percent) ranging from 0 to 7 FHM survivors per trial (figure 34).
Three FHM survived beyond 96 hrs (0.17 percent) after sleeve valve passage and ranged from 0
