Unit 77 -77 -777, <br />WHEREAS, required approval, clearance and coordination has been accomplished from and with appropriate <br />agencies, and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to thit-�,,,V]� vi> T of section 37 -60 -119, <br />Colorado Revised Statuteslmee'ah, the State is authorized <br />to construct certain wat - r'�je's�-or the benefit of the <br />people of the State of Co�ado N1','. <br />A,N <br />WHEREAS, the City of Gre,e'y'�_"has made application to the <br />State for the rehabilitatiori� > "gf three of its dams, such <br />improvement of the facilities is hereinafter sometimes referred <br />to as the project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Contractor is a city within the State of <br />Colorado; <br />NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby agreed that: <br />1. The Contractor shall have a feasibility report prepared <br />and directed to the problem of enlarging and rehabilitating the <br />dams of Comanche, Peterson, and Twin Lakes in accordance with a <br />proposal for a project feasibility report prepared by the <br />consulting engineering firm of Morrison - Knudsen Engineers, Inc. <br />(the Consultant), and approved by the State, received June 16, <br />1986, which proposal is attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a <br />part of this contract. <br />2. Fifteen (15) copies of the final report called for in <br />this contract shall be furnished to the State not later than <br />October 31, 1986, unless such time is extended by mutual <br />agreement of the parties hereto in writing. <br />3. As compensation for the services of the Contractor, the <br />State shall pay to the Contractor the sum of Sixty -Eight <br />Thousand Five Hundred Sixty Dollars ($68,560) in the manner <br />following: <br />a. Sixty percent (60 %), to wit, Forty -One Thousand One <br />Hundred Thirty -Six Dollars ($41,136) of the total amount <br />due in two (2) monthly installments of Twenty Thousand <br />Five Hundred Sixty -Eight Dollars ($20,568) each, commencing <br />on August 1, 1986. <br />b.
