Commissioner's Daily Worksheets (comrrdlyjbb. District River Commissioner's, on a daily basis, report
flow values and calling information within their own District. The flow values are all recorded as
instantaneous values and include river gauge flows, diversion flows (colored as being either 'river'
or 'reservoir'), and stream inflows. Additional information recorded by the Commissioners'
includes river 'calling' information, an indication of diversion structures drying the river, and any
comments or remarks regarding the day's activities. All this information is archived on the
'Commissioner's Daily Worksheet'. Because the Lower South Platte River has been defined as
spanning from the Kersey gauge to the Julesburg gauge, which encompasses Districts 1 and 64,
information contained on two Daily Worksheets is needed. A sample of a Commissioner's Daily
Worksheets' for both Districts 1 and 64 can be found in Appendix Ill. The information existing
on the Commissioner's Daily Worksheets has been reproduced in the database table comm_dly.dbf.
The fields contained in comm_dly.dbf and their corresponding structural format are listed in Table 3
below.
Table 3 Field names and structural format contained within comm_dly.dbf.
Field
#
comm_dly.dbf
Field Name
Field
Type
Field
Width
Decimal
Precision
1
REPORTDATE
D
8
N/A
2
KERSGAUGCG
N
7
1
3
KERSGAUGCR
L
1
N/A
4
CROWCRKICI
N
6
1
5
CROWCRKICR
L
1
N/A
6
EMPRCANDCD
L
1
N/A
7
EMPRCANDCV
N
6
1
8
EMPRCANDCR
L
1
N/A
9
RIVRSIDDCD
L
1
N/A
10
RIVRSIDDCV
N
6
1
11
RIVRSIDDCS
N
6
1
12
RIVRSIDDCR-
L
1
N/A
13
ILLMSDCD
L
1
N/A
14
ILLMSDCV
N
6
1
15
ILLMSDCS
N
6
1
16
1LLMSDCR
L
1
N/A
17
BOXELDRCCI
N
6
1
18
BOXELDRICR
L
1
N/A
19
BIJOUCADCD
L
1
N/A
20
BUOUCADCV
N
6
1
21
BIJOUCADCS
N
6
1
22
BUOUCADCR
L
1
N/A
23
PUTNAMDDCD
L
1
N/A
24
PUTNAMDDCV
N
6
1
17 ptflguid.wpd
