Czaplewski [czaplews@linux3. nrc. state. ne. us]
Sent: Thursday, July 27, 2000 7:10 AM
To: Derby, Clayton
Cc: Tebbel, Paul
Subject: Tech Committee Issues
Clayton,
In response to Paul's request for issues for discussion at next
week's Tech Committee workshop with the GC, please note the points
listed below. They don't constitute issues that haven't been brought up
in past meetings (as Paul noted) but they are ones which still need
discussion /resolution.
- Baseline Document (R1 -1) - Status and purpose of document, status of
comments provided, peer review, Nickum's assessment, addressing data
gaps, etc.
- Biological Response Document (R3 -1) - expectations and use, compliance,
incorporation into IMRC, protocols, analysis methods, etc.
-Peer Review - Status of Milestone R4 -1 given current schedules and
lack of completed R1 -1, R2 -1 and R3 -1 documents.
"Cooperative" approach vs. abrogation of authority by DO[
- Pallid sturgeon - related monitoring and research
- Reliance on outdated Platte River Joint Management documents (including
drafts)
- Incorporation of off channel habitat restoration /management activities
