Least Tern <br />DR. EILEEN KIRSCH <br />Dr. Eileen Kirsch is a researcher with the U.S. Geological Survey, Upper Midwest Environmental Sciences <br />Center, 2630 Fanta Reed Road, La Cross, Wisconsin, 54603. Dr. Kirsch has conducted multiple research <br />projects, and authored numerous papers on least terns along the Platte River which have appeared in peer <br />reviewed professional journals. Dr. Kirsch also authored a Wildlife Monograph titled "Habitat selection <br />and productivity of least terns on the lower Platte River, Nebraska." Dr. Kirsch can be contacted at 608- <br />783 -6451 or at eileen kirsch @usgs.gov <br />DR. BARBARA W. MASSEY <br />Dr. Massey has spent her career as a field biologist and professor at California State University, Long <br />Beach. Dr. Massey has authored numerous articles in peer reviewed professional journals on colonial <br />waterbirds, tern colony natural history and behavior, and the least tern specifically. Dr. Massey is retired. o <br />Her current address and phone number are unknown. <br />DR. ROCHELLE RENKEN <br />Dr. Renken is a wildlife research biologist with the Missouri Department of Conservation, and received her <br />Ph.D. in 1988 from the University of Missouri, Columbia. Dr. Renken's research interests are varied, and (v <br />include wildlife ecology, ecosystem management, and avian conservation.
