(1994) expanded the information to about 20 species and life stages using sites from river <br />mile 18 to 230. <br />Hopfar (1997) reported that Cyprinidae was consistently the most abundant family found, <br />and included several species during a larval survey conducted between May and July <br />1996 on the Lower Platte River. Reade (2000) also found Cyprinidae to be the <br />predominant family collected during a larval survey conducted in 1998 and 1999 on the <br />lower Platte River. <br />Data Gaps /Protocols <br />A protocol is currently being developed for the Platte River Cooperative Agreement, and <br />will be on file at the Executive Director's office in Cheyenne, Wyoming. <br />No information was found in the literature regarding predators or diseases of pallid <br />sturgeon. <br />Basic parameters relating to spawning, such as locations, substrate preference, water <br />temperature, and time of year have not been documented. <br />Draft Baseline Report — Pallid Sturgeon Section 18 <br />
