As the projects progressed to Phase H, program coordination focused on meeting the <br />individual project needs. Project- specific coordination was carried out primarily through <br />interagency agreements between EPA and Reclamation regional offices. Respective <br />regional representatives from each agency worked directly with the project sponsors and <br />local agencies. The demonstration project sponsor organizations, Reclamation regions, <br />and EPA regional offices are indicated in table 2. <br />Annual Meetings <br />Program coordination meetings were held annually to review the overall program budget <br />and the status of individual projects. Project coordinators from the respective EPA and <br />Reclamation regional offices attended these meetings. These meetings were also open to <br />project sponsors, other agencies, and the public. The location, project sites visited, and <br />dates for these interagency coordination meetings are listed in table 3. <br />Date <br />Table 3. Meetings were held at different locations <br />near the demonstration projects so the participants could meet the project sponsors and <br />visit the different recharge demonstration facilities. <br />Reports and Publications <br />Program activities were summarized in a Phase I report (Reclamation, 1987), and annual <br />status reports were produced during Phase H (Reclamation, 1991 to 1997) according to <br />the provisions of the Act. The Phase I report presented findings and recommendations for <br />projects to continue to Phase H development stages. Annual reports provided updates on <br />the progress of the demonstration projects and the overall program status. <br />2.6 High Plains States Groundwater Demonstration Program <br />
