The high mountains of <br />Colorado and Wyoming are exceptions as precipitation in these areas <br />averages as much as 40 inches mostly in the form of snowfall. The <br />plains portion of the basin receives precipitation in the form of <br />snowfall in the winter and shower and thunderstorms in the spring and <br />summer. The basin experiences many weather extremes. <br />c. Some of these reports include Environmental Statements <br />with Endangered Species biological assessments and Fish and Wildlife <br />Coordination Act reports. Special Project Reports, such as Small Loans <br />and Rehabilitation and Betterment Programs, are available for Central <br />Nebraska Public Power and Irrigation District E -65, Elwood Reservoir <br />Project, and the North Platte Project.
