The fol-
lowing fee changes were adopted:
Certification Examination Fee: $35 (previously $25)
Examination Application Fee: $15
Administration Fee to obtain Certificate following exam:
$50 (previously $60)
Therefore, the total cost ($100.00) for an operator to obtain
certification by passing an exam remains unchanged.
Please note that the $60 Administration Fee for renewal certifi-
cations and new certifications by reciprocity remains unchanged.
In addition, the $15 Application Fee for certification renewal and
certification by reciprocity remains unchanged. The revised fees
are effective December 30, 2004.
26
On November 30, 2004, a continuation of the October Rule -
making Hearing was conducted. At the end of that session, the
WWFOCB approved a new $50.00 fee for review of applications
for training unit approval, which occurs via www.00POweb.com.
This new fee is effective November 30, 2004 and applies to all
courses to be offered in 2005 or later. Accredited educational
institutions are required to submit a fee only if they want their
courses reviewed and posted on the OCPO web site. A reduced
fee of $25 was established for operators submitting a course for
review that has not been submitted by a course sponsor.
The new fee structure was adopted to cover the costs related
to hosting and maintaining the web site, along with the associ-
ated costs for administrative management. These fees are set
forth in section 100.22.2 of the WWFOCB's Regulation No. 100.
The revised regulation will be posted by early December on the
WWFOCB web site at www.cdphe.state.co.us/op/ocb/ocbhom.
M.
