Garrison Diversion is dedicated to providing reliable, high - quality, and affordable water for the benefit of North Dakota, and for this reason is an immense supporter of the Dushinske & Jamison Water Resources Scholarship. The following three pages, which announce the winners of the 2005 Dushinske & Jamison Scholarship, are provided to you through a contribution of Garrison Diversion. The North Dakota Water Education Foundation ( NDWEF) awarded two Dushinske & Jamison Wa- ter Resources Scholarships to Patrick Metzger of Carrington and Allison O'Toole of Crystal, on May 1. Metzger is a 2001 graduate of Carrington High School, and currently attends Valley City State Uni- versity as a physical and elementary education major. O'Toole is a 2003 graduate of Valley High School in Hoople, and currently attends Jamestown College, where she is majoring in English and communications. The Dushinske & Jamison Water Resources Schol- arship Endowment was established in 1999 by the NDWEF in honor of Russ Dushinske's and Warren Jamison's distinguished service, dedicated leadership, and life -long devotion to water development in North Dakota. The scholarship is awarded each spring to two deserv- ing North Dakota students whose families have taken an active role in state water resource management. Metzger is the son of Steve and Jane Metzger. Steve is the Foster County representative on the Garrison Diversion board of directors. O'Toole is the daughter of Sara and Brian O'Toole, and the cousin of Thomas O'Toole, a director for the North Valley Water District.
