=1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />11 <br />EXHIBIT B - PROJECT TASKS <br />provided by the State under this Contract Amendment #One, LSPWCD will: <br />For $20,000, purchase the following items and services from the Integrated Decision <br />Support Group at CSU; <br />(a) Computer software and hardware designed to enhance field data collection and <br />analysis of habitat suitability for minnow species of concern, <br />(b) Begin GPS mapping of sloughs in the lower South Platte River between Tamarack <br />Ranch State Wildlife Area (SWA), and the Colorado/Nebraska stateline, <br />(c) Provide assistance to LSPWCD and CDOW personnel for field monitoring of <br />minnow habitat parameters, groundwater levels and water quality in sloughs and <br />observation wells, along with monitoring and analysis assistance on the groundwater <br />tracer study at the Tamarack Ranch SWA. <br />For up to $20,000, pay electrical pumping costs at Tamarack Ranch SWA. <br />For $20,000, purchase supplies and equipment, or lease equipment for operations and <br />maintenance of the water delivery and monitoring facilities at Tamarack Ranch SWA. <br />Such supplies could include equipment fuel and routine equipment maintenance. Such <br />equipment could include a front -end loader, dozer, back -hoe, portable welding trailer, <br />additional observation wells and recorders and/or submersible pump for sampling <br />observation wells. <br />For $45,000 and by October 31, 2001, develop and submit to CDOW for their review and <br />approval, a plan and cost estimate for remote monitoring and control of well pumping, <br />groundwater monitoring and data collection facilities on the Tamarack Ranch and Pony <br />Express SWAs Upon approval by CDOW, begin installation of a remote well monitoring <br />and control system. <br />Page 4 of 4 pages <br />
