_.. <br />9g gz- <br />BE IN <br />Colorado State University Produced Waters Workshop <br />April 4 -6 <br />Fort Collins Marriott <br />Fort Collins, Colorado <br />Purpose of Workshop: What is the potential opportunity for beneficial use of produced waters <br />and how can we make it happen? <br />The overriding goal of this workshop is to enhance understanding of opportunities and challenges <br />involved in converting produced waters to beneficial use. This will be accomplished through the <br />assembly of disciplines and entities that can broadly characterize produced water sources, issues, and <br />opportunities for responsible identification and development of realistic beneficial uses. <br />The Workshop Will: <br />• Identify the key opportunities and capabilities of state -of -the -art treatment technologies for <br />produced waters; <br />• Initiate discussions regarding public policies to facilitate the development of this valuable resource; <br />and, <br />• Define a course of action to further evaluate and pursue these opportunities. <br />Partial List of Speakers: <br />• Mark Limbaugh, Assistant Secretary for Water and Science, Department of the Interior <br />• Lynn Takaichi, Vice President, Kennedy /Jenks Consultants <br />• Glenn Porzak, Attorney, Porzak, Browning & Johnson, LLP <br />• Harold Bergman, Director, William D.
