Results by Question <br />Findings for most of the questions are from all respondents. Occasionally findings are <br />segmented when a significant difference appears among the respondent groups. Findings <br />are provided by the respective question number in the survey. <br />EXPERIENCE WITH WATER RESOURCE PROVIDERS <br />Q3. When you think of sources or providers of information and services related to water <br />resources, planning, and management issues for Colorado who comes to mind? <br />• CWCB was the most mentioned (45 %) when asked "unaided" what water <br />resource providers came to mind. Seventeen (17 %) named CWCB first. <br />Two - hundred ninety -four (294) people answered this "unaided" question yielding 1,270 <br />responses. CWCB received 132 total mentions, 45% of the respondents volunteered CWCB <br />at this question. <br />Respondents were allowed to write -in up to 10 resources. CWCB received 49 "first - <br />mentions", meaning that 17% of all respondents mentioned CWCB first. The next closest <br />resource mentioned first was the State Engineering Office at 5 %. <br />By far conservancy districts were the second most utilized at 35% ( CRWCD alone was <br />mentioned by 10.5% of all respondents). Other significant mentions were USGS (15.6%), <br />State Engineer's Office (13.5%), Colorado Foundation for Water Education (11%), CRWCD <br />(10.5%), AWWA (9.5%), CSU (7.6%), Denver Water (7.8%) Urban Drainage & Flood Control <br />District (6.8%), Colorado Water Congress and Colorado Division of Water Resources (6.1%). <br />A complete list of all responses may be found in Appendix Q3. <br />Q4.
