<br />Resource Specialist for numerous EISs, EAs, and permitting efforts for the U.S. Army Corps
<br />of Engineers ( USACE), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), U.S. Forest Service (USFS),
<br />Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Colorado Department of Transportation, and
<br />private sector clients. She is experienced in water quality monitoring, wetland delineation
<br />and mitigation, biological baseline studies, and development of water quality best
<br />management practices. On NEPA projects, Ms. Daukas conducts public hearings,
<br />coordinates interagency involvement and ensures NEPA compliance. She also has
<br />extensive experience in preparing /negotiating environmental permits and approvals,
<br />including NPDES permits, USACE Section 404 permits, and FERC license applications.

<br />Tom Pitts has 35 years experience in environmental permitting and compliance for water
<br />and water related projects, Endangered Species Act compliance, water quality
<br />management (Clean Water Act), and water resources planning and management. This
<br />includes 29 years working with federal, state, local government agencies, and private
<br />parties in the State of Colorado.

<br />Steve Dougherty, a principal and ecologist with ERO Resources, has experience in ecology
<br />and environmental sciences since 1975. He is a recognized expert in wetland and
<br />riparian systems. Areas of specialization include baseline vegetation studies, monitoring
<br />and mitigation plans for wetlands and other vegetation types, rare, threatened and
<br />endangered species, and open space and natural areas planning. Before joining ERO
<br />Resources, he worked as an environmental specialist for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
<br />and as a consulting ecologist and botanist.

<br />Ron Beane is a certified ecologist and Research Associate with the Denver Museum of
<br />Nature and Science (DMNS). He has over 20 years of professional experience as an
<br />ecologist and wildlife biologist, specializing in threatened and endangered species, NEPA,
<br />environmental permitting and planning, and applied ecological studies. Mr. Beane has
<br />been involved in a variety of projects including state and federal highways, transmission
<br />lines, federal superfund sites, military installations, pipelines, open space planning, and
<br />natural resources management. He is certified or qualified to conduct surveys for the
<br />Preble's meadow jumping mouse (PMJM), black- footed ferret, swift fox, southwestern
<br />willow flycatcher, northern goshawk, bald eagle, peregrine falcon, burrowing owl,
<br />mountain plover, boreal toad, desert tortoise. He has also conducted research projects
<br />on ferruginous hawks and grassland ecosystems for the DMNS, lynx assessments for the
<br />BLM and bald eagles for the USFWS.

<br />Bill Miller has over 22 years experience in fisheries, instream flow, and aquatic ecology
<br />studies. He has worked extensively throughout the western U.S. and is a recognized expert
<br />in the areas of instream flow, water temperature modeling and habitat assessments. Dr.
<br />Miller's experience includes research and evaluations for several threatened, endangered,
<br />and candidate aquatic species in the Colorado River and Platte River basins. He has
