<br />• Project Location: In northern Boulder County at the intersection of U.S. highway 36 and state highway 66,
<br />approximately 15 miles west of Longmont. The Town is located on, and receives most of its water from the St. Vrain
<br />River.

<br />Project Description: Upgrade water treatment plant with new clarification equipment, microfiltration membranes, UV
<br />disinfection, and hypochlorite dosing.
<br />Reason/Need for Project: The Town does not expect to be in compliance with Colorado's Long -Term 2 Enhanced
<br />Surface Water Treatment and Stage 2 Disinfectants and Disinfection By- products rules that go into effect in 2004 if it
<br />does not upgrade the system.
