• <br />• <br />• Evaluate the short- listed specific and /or representative projects <br />with respect to the screening criteria. Evaluations include estimates <br />of project costs and potential reductions to target flow shortages. <br />• Score each project based on the screening criteria and rank the <br />projects to develop a prioritized list of potential projects. <br />Projects were evaluated throughout the 19 river reaches defined for the <br />Platte River study area (see Chapter 3). The results of the ranking will <br />be used to develop a Recovery Program Action Plan under the <br />direction of the Governance Committee. <br />E. Public Information Program <br />Public involvement in the Water Conservation/Supply Reconnaissance <br />Study is essential and has been encouraged to facilitate cooperative <br />management of the Recovery Program. The Governance Committee <br />has provided information to the public through direct mailings and the <br />Internet through the Platte River website (www.platteriver.org). All <br />Governance Committee meetings and subcommittee meetings are open <br />to the public. The general public has also been encouraged to provide <br />input or obtain information by simply contacting the members of the <br />committees. <br />2 -5 <br />
