Lawson asked <br />54 for agenda modifications; none offered. Berryman moved to approve the December 2009 GC <br />55 minutes; DeMott seconded. Minutes approved. Kenny said Wingfield would be stricken from <br />56 the attendance list at the February 2010 GC Special Session. Purcell moved to approve the <br />57 February 2010 GC Special Session minutes; Kowalski seconded, adding that Wingfield's name <br />58 needs to be removed from several places in the minutes. Minutes approved. <br />59 <br />60 Kenny circulated a membership list for the GC to review and make modifications if necessary by <br />61 the end of the meeting on Wednesday, March 10. <br />62 <br />63 Program Committee Updates <br />64 Land Advisory Committee (LAC) <br />65 Czaplewski provided an update on the latest LAC activities. The LAC last met on January 29 in <br />66 Kearney. Most of the discussion was related to Program land management activities and the <br />67 LAC took action several Program land management plans. The next LAC meeting is April 9 in <br />68 Kearney. <br />69 <br />70 Water Advisory Committee (WAC) <br />71 Steinke provided an update on the latest WAC activities. Courtney provided an update to the <br />72 Water Action Plan and the WAC approved. The ED Office is moving forward on permitting that <br />73 includes potential Water Action Plan projects. The WAC approved the J -2 Re- Regulating <br />74 Reservoir Prefeasibility Study. Steve Smith from the ED Office provided an update on potential <br />75 groundwater recharge projects. Kenny provided an update on water management incentives <br />76 scoping underway by the Flatwater Group and University of Nebraska experts. The next WAC <br />77 meeting is in May in Ogallala and that agenda will include depletions plans updates. <br />78 <br />79 Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) <br />80 Besson provided an update on the latest TAC activities. The TAC had two meetings since the <br />81 last GC meeting in December 2009. Discussion at the January 2010 meeting included Program <br />82 monitoring protocols, tern and plover annual reporting, initial report from the tern and plover <br />83 foraging habits study, whooping crane monitoring report, forage fish monitoring report, <br />84 geomorphology /in- channel vegetation monitoring report, water quality monitoring report, PRRIP <br />85 Responses to 2009 ISAC Findings, and Program land management plans. <br />86 <br />This document is a draft based on one person's notes of the meeting.
