Bill title: A bill to amend the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act to <br />designate certain segments of the Cache la Poudre River and the <br />South Fork of the Cache la Poudre River in Colorado as component <br />of the National Wild and Scenic River System. <br />3. Bill status: As ordered reported by the Senate Committee on <br />Energy and Natural Resources, July 16, 1986. <br />4. Bill purpose: S. 1819 would designate certain segments of the <br />Cache la Poudre River as components of the National Wild and <br />Scenic River System and authorize grants and technical assistance <br />to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado for a study of a possible na- <br />tional recreation area in the proposed wild and scenic river area. <br />The bill authorizes the appropriation of $500,000 for development, <br />$2,500,000 for land acquisition, and $150,000 for the study. <br />5.
