THE CITY OF RIFLE, a municipal corporation, Rifle, Colorado,
for and in consideration of the terms and conditions of a
contract dated November 1, 1980, between the CITY OF RIFLE, and
the STATE OF COLORADO, Contract Fund No. 4008, G/L Account No.
5316, Contract Encumbrance No. C153335, reference to which is
made for greater certainty, hereby quit claims to the State of
Colorado, for the use and benefit of the Department of Natural
Resources, Colorado Water Conservation Board, the following
described real property, situate in the County of Garfield and
State of Colorado, to -wit:
A tract or parcel of land situate in the NE ISA of
Section 10., Township 6 South, Range 93 West of the 6th
P.M., shown and described as the City of Rifle water
tank and treatment facilities on the plat of the
Highlands East Subdivision Seventh Filing, which parcel
of land is more fully described as follows:
Beginning at the NW corner of the Highlands East Sixth
filing Planned Unit Development; thence North 0 °39'11"
West 173.18 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence
along a non - radial curve to the left, having a central
angle of 7 °25'57 ", a radius of 180 feet, an arc length
of 23.35 feet of which the chord bears South 86 °31'29"
East 23.33 feet; thence North 89 °45'33" East 269.54
feet; thence North 00 °39'11" West 292.11 feet; thence
South 89 045'33" West 320.00 feet; thence South 0 039111"
East 284.87 feet to the North right -of -way line of Fir
Avenue; thence Easterly along the right of way line of
Fir Avenue to the Point of Beginning;
And also the following described easements over and
across the following described parcels, which easements
are for the purpose of operating and maintaining water
lines, transmission lines, and telemetering equipment:
Easement A:
The west 30 feet of the SE- of the SW- of Section 10,
Township 6 South, Range 93 West of the 6th P.M., lying
south of the right -of -way for Garfield County Road 294.
Easement B:
The east 30 feet of the SW�. of the SW 4 of Section 10,
Township 6 South, Range 93 West of the 6th P.M., lying
south of the right -of -way for Garfield County Road 294.
Easement C:
The west 30 feet of the NEh of the NW4 of Section 15,
Township 6 South, Range 93 West of the 6th P.M., lying
north of the right -of -way for U.S. Highway 6 & 24.
Easement D:
Commencing at the Northwest Corner of the East Half of
the Southwest Quarter (E SW 4) of Section 10, Township 6
South, Range 93 West, 6th Principal Meridian; thence
South 00 °39'11" East along the West line of the East
Half of the Southwest Quarter (E�SW%) of said Section
10 with all bearings contained herein being relative
thereto, a distance of 610.00 feet to the True Point of
