THIS CONTRACT, made this lSt day of April 19; by and between the
State of Colorado for the use and benefit of the Department of ,1 Natural Resources
(Colorado Water Conservation Board),
hereinafter referred to as the State, and -2 the Town of Limon,
P. 0. Box 8, Limon, Colorado 80208,
hereinafter referred to as the contractor,
WHEREAS, authority exists in the Law and Funds have been budgeted. appropriated and otherwise made
available and a sufficient unencumbered balance thereof remains available for payment in Fund Number 4,0 0 8
G/L Account Number, Contract Encumbrance Number C15 3 317 • and
ABL Account Number 17660, Org. Unit 77 -77 -777,
WHEREAS, required approval, clearance and coordination has been accomplished from and with appropriate
agencies; and
WHEREAS, the State and the Contractor did on September 1,
1979, enter into a contract and on January 15, 1980, enter into
an amended contract for the construction of a water supply system
for the Town of Limon, Colorado at estimated cost of Four Hundred
Fifty Thousand Dollars ($450,000) and Seven Hundred Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($750,000), respectively, and the amended
contract of January 15, 1980, is attached hereto as Exhibit A and
hereby incorporated into this amended contract; and
WHEREAS, the State and the Contractor have further agreed to
amend the amended contract to i e additional portions of the

2. The terms and provisions of that certain amended
contract dated January 15, 1980, attached hereto as Exhibit A and
incorporated herein by reference, remaining in full force and
effect except as amended herein.
3. Paragraph A.2. is hereby amended to read as follows:
Convey or cause title to be conveyed by deed to the Colorado
Water Conservation Board, Department of Natural Resources, State
of Colorado, the following portions of the proposed project
facilities:

a. 8 -inch diameter 2,948 feet + of PVC line with all
appurtenances.
b. 6 -inch diameter 13,902 feet + of PVC line with all
appurtenances.
C. 4 -inch diameter 1,511 feet + of PVC line with all
appurtenances.
d. A 2 -inch diameter, 57 -foot galvanized pipe.
e. A booster station with one 190 - gallon- per - minute
centrifugal pump with all appurtenances and electrical
controls.
f. A complete radio control system regulating the pump
operations and tank levels.
