Witte, P.E. <br />Division Engineer <br />When replying, please refer to: <br />MOUNT PISGAH DAM: <br />Water Division 2, DAMID 120129 <br />As you know a dam safety inspection of the above - referenced dam was performed on June <br />28, 2011, in accordance with Colorado Revised Statute 37 -87 -107, which assigns to the State <br />Engineer's Office the responsibility for determining the safe storage levels for all reservoirs in this <br />state. The enclosed inspection report (2 copies) summarizes the conditions observed during the <br />inspection and identifies actions required to improve the condition and extend the useful life of the <br />structure. Please review the report and implement all recommendations listed in the section <br />entitled, "Items Requiring Action by Owner to Improve the Safety of the Dam" on page 2 of the <br />reports. Please sign, date, and return one copy of the inspection report and retain the other copy <br />for your files and future reference. <br />The last Emergency Action Plan that we have on file for Mount Pisgah Reservoir is dated <br />1994. If a more recent EAP was prepared, please provide a copy to our office. Otherwise, the <br />EAP needs to be updated.
