The sites include Pearl <br />Street to Dutch Clark Stadium along the Arkansas - a river <br />park is planned near Pearl Street; the Pueblo Zoo, where a <br />Colorado river otter exhibit and a connection to the existing <br />river trail are proposed; and Greenway and Nature Center <br />of Pueblo, where habitat improvements and work on <br />outdoor facilities and at the Raptor Center are proposed. <br />Local partners joined the GOCo representatives on the tour <br />of the project, which also would restore the river fisheries <br />habitat and streamside vegetation all along the Arkansas <br />River from Pueblo Dam to the Arkansas - Fountain Creek <br />confluence. <br />Gerry Faust of Las Animas, a GOCo board member, took <br />the tour but declined to talk about the project by telephone <br />Thursday. <br />"It's very premature," Faust said. "We will review it at the <br />projects committee meeting next week." <br />I& <br />TVQUEST <br />Jim Koncilja of Pueblo, another GOCo board member whotlstttte <br />took the tour, could not be reached Thursday. News <br />Lise Aangeenbrug, program manager for GOCo Legacy Rnis, Ltd. <br />projects, said the projects committee meeting will be from <br />9:30 to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the Colorado Municipal <br />League in Denver.
